What makes your candles different from others?

Our luxury Coconut wax blend candles are hand-poured with the very best fragrance in the industry. Our wax blend is odorless, which means we don't have to use anything to cover the wax's base odor **less additives** and it burns longer than other wax bases.

We also optimize every candle system (wick, fragrance, vessel and wax) for the best burn possible to ensure the safety of use as well as the quality of the candle you are receiving. This means our candles will not tunnel and leave excessive unused wax on the sides of the jar.

In short the perfect wax, amazing fragrances and beautiful burn in your home every time.

Where are your products made, do you make them?

We hand pour our jars and wax melts in Yukon, Oklahoma. Our diffusers are poured in California by one of our dear industry friends. Most of our products are made in the United States with domestic and international parts.

Our signature tin candles are produced in Vietnam, don't panic our Founder has visited the factory and has worked with this amazing for over a decade. This means you get an amazing quality product and a fantastically affordable cost. Feel confident knowing that this factory treats their employees well, our Founder saw it with her own eyes.

Is there lead in the wick?

No absolutely not! Our wicks are safe and non-toxic.

What is in the wax and is it toxic?

Our wax is non-toxic and a blend of coconut wax and paraffin wax. Coconut wax is safe, long-burning and odorless. Paraffin is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for use in food, cosmetics, and medical applications and is present in most candles sold in the United States.

What causes a candle to soot or smoke and is it harmful?

No, candle smoke and soot is not harmful. It is a natural byproduct of incomplete combustion in the candle. The soot is a carbon particle that is similar to the soot given off by kitchen toaster. It is chemically different than the soot formed by burning diesel fuel, coal or gasoline (which are the more concerning forms of soot and smoke). Trimming your wick properly each time you light your candle will minimize naturally occurring smoke and soot.

Can I pick the candles in my subscription?

Most customers prefer that our fragrance expert hand select their fragrances each month, however you can email us with a request as long as it is before the end of the month prior to your subscription. We ask that you give us feedback, so that we can continue to develop fragrances that you will love. All fragrances are developed exclusively for our customers and selected at random so that you can experience a variety of fragrances.

What if I don’t like the fragrance?

We only send candles that we love. Not everyone will love every single fragrance. We have a Britten & Bailey’s exchange Facebook page set up. You can easily trade candles with other members for something that you love more. We do not accept returns for a candle you don’t like. *Please note that we do not regulate the Facebook trade page, it is simply a place to connect with other candle lovers and trade if you want to. You interact on this page at your own risk.

We recommend that you give the candle that isn't your favorite away as a gift. They make great gifts for birthday parties, house warming, appreciations etc.
