Britten & Bailey’s Subscription (specified as Membership) Terms

At Britten & Bailey’s, we offer a variety of Britten & Bailey’s Box Memberships (each, a “Membership”). Please review these Britten & Bailey’s Box Membership Terms carefully and make sure you understand them before enrolling because they contain important and relevant information regarding any Membership you may purchase, including renewal and cancellation terms. Memberships are continuous and automatically renew unless you cancel, pause or we terminate your account. All details for each are stated below  

By purchasing a Membership, you agree to the terms below, as well as our Terms and Conditions.

  1. Month-to-Month Memberships. A “Month-to-Month” Membership consists of an initial monthly product box (each, a “Box”) and an additional monthly Box sent out every month around the 15th of the month thereafter (to be shipped no later than the 15th of each month thereafter).

    If you sign up for a Month to Month Membership, you will be immediately billed $22.99 (as a non-refundable minimum purchase). You must sign up for a box by the 14th of the month prior to receive a box the following month. You will be notified upon signing up which month’s Box will be the first you receive. The specific box you receive as a first-time subscriber is subject to availability. Thereafter, your credit card will be charged $22.99 up to a month in advance of the subsequent box shipment date, and every month thereafter.

    Month to Month Memberships automatically renew each “Month” (i.e., 1st of every month) and, unless you cancel by the last day of the month prior, you will be charged as described above.
  1.  12 month Prepaid Membership. If you choose a 12 month Prepaid Membership, your subscription will include the same Boxes as you would receive under a Month to Month Membership. If you sign up for a 12 month Prepaid Membership, you will be immediately billed $275.88 (as a non-refundable minimum purchase). You will receive a total of 14 months of boxes (two months free with prepaid membership) the monthly Box sent out every month around the 15th of the month thereafter (to be shipped no later than the 15th of each month thereafter).

    12 month Prepaid Memberships will not automatically renew after your first fourteen boxes. Should you decide to renew your subscription, you must sign in on the website and purchase another membership (Prepaid or month to month). 

  2.  6 month Prepaid Membership. If you choose an 6 month Prepaid Membership, your subscription will include the same Boxes as you would receive under a Month to Month Membership. If you sign up for a 6 month Prepaid Membership, you will be immediately billed $137.94 (as a non-refundable minimum purchase). You will receive a total of 7 months of boxes (one month free with prepaid membership) the monthly Box sent out every month around the 15th of the month thereafter (to be shipped no later than the 15th of each month thereafter).

    6 month Prepaid Memberships will not automatically renew after your first seven boxes. Should you decide to renew your subscription, you must sign in on the website and purchase another membership (Prepaid or month to month). 

  3. 3 month Prepaid Membership. If you choose an 3 month Prepaid Membership, your subscription will include the same Boxes as you would receive under a Month to Month Membership. If you sign up for a 3 month Prepaid Membership, you will be immediately billed $68.97 (as a non-refundable minimum purchase). You will receive a total of 3 months of boxes, the monthly Box sent out every month around the 15th of the month thereafter (to be shipped no later than the 15th of each month thereafter).

    3 month Prepaid Memberships will not automatically renew after your first three boxes. Should you decide to renew your subscription, you must sign in on the website and purchase another membership (Prepaid or month to month). 

  4. Cancellation Policy for Month to Month subscriptions. Customers may cancel at any time after the minimum purchase has been made (after first box has shipped), subject to the time frames below.

  5. In order to cancel your Subscription, you must do one of the following: (a) email us at tiffany@brittenandbaileys.com, indicate that you wish to cancel and follow the instructions that we send you in response; (b) call us at (888) 210-9780 ext 102, indicate that you wish to cancel and follow the instructions given. You can manage your membership by clicking "Manage Subscription" on the menu bar. There are no cancellation fees.

    Cancellations must be affected by the last day of the month prior to the billing date of the Membership renewal (1st of the month). This means that you must cancel the last day of the month before the billing date for the next month. *Cancellation does not apply to prepaid memberships as these are paid in advance and not renewed automatically.

  6. All Memberships. Each Box contains a random assortment of candle fragrances. We select premium fragrances for you to experience and build your fragrance pallet. However at this time there is no way to choose what fragrances go into your monthly box. We hope you enjoy them all, if you find one you do not like you can log on to the Facebook community and trade with someone for a fragrance you love. Please note that the Facebook community is not monitored or controlled by Britten & Bailey’s LLC, it is simply provided as an option for you to trade at your own risk. We recommend giving away fragrances that are not your favorites as gifts. 

  7.  Gifts/Additional Boxes. Members may choose to send their orders to a different address than their own (within the United States). Additional Boxes may be purchased, subject to quantity limits at the discretion of the Company. We recommend prepaid options for gifting as they are one time fees for you as the purchaser and do not automatically renew monthly like the month to month subscription. 

  8. Shipping and Taxes. For each Box and Item purchased in the shop, we will also charge for any applicable taxes. Free shipping is provided to all customers on our website. 

  9. Data Transfers. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we may transfer your billing information to our third-party payment processors, other service providers, and certain trusted third parties.

  10. Skipping a month on your Membership. Membership months may be skipped, without fee’s. Holds must be affected by the last day of the month prior to the billing date of the Membership renewal (1st of the month). This means you must log on to your account and pause your membership the last day of the month before the billing date for the next month (1st day of the month is the billing date). To skip click on "Manage Subscription", Log in, Click on the drop down menu "Manage", Click on "Upcoming Orders" and click the Skip button next to the month you would like to skip. 

  11. Manage Membership. Click on the "Manage Subscription" on the menu bar at the top of the website to view upcoming shipments, update billing or shipping information, skip or cancel a membership.
